  • Our client is one of the largest school districts in the Pacific Northwest, with more than 50,000 students.
  • The objective of the World Languages Department of the school district is to prepare all students to achieve a Seal of Biliteracy and to take AP/IB World Language.
  • One of the pillars of the World Languages Department is cultural learning, to develop the ability of their students to view the world from multiple perspectives.
The challenge
  • Due to the general teacher shortage, the district is facing a challenge in finding well prepared Spanish teachers for their Middle School students.
  • In addition, these Spanish classes should include a strong Hispanic cultural component.
